Scientists discover a real-life “dragon” and name it after Syrax
Researchers have identified a new species of mountain horned dragon in Thailand, named Acanthosaura syrax, inspired by the fictional dragon from "House of the Dragon." This discovery highlights the importance of preserving high-elevation forests, which serve as unique habitats for such species. Efforts to protect these ecosystems are critical for biodiversity conservation.
