Aquatic animal and terrestrial meat trades now almost on par, FAO report finds
According to a recent FAO report, the growth of aquaculture has led to farmed aquatic animal production surpassing 100 million metric tons for the first time, resulting in trade values for aquatic products nearly equal to those of terrestrial meat.
